Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. True Holiness was found by the late Pastor J. E. Morgan in 1961. These pioneers have paved the way for many and worked diligently in the church. Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. True Holiness first begins in their home and later they reconstructed and remodeled their home for a place of worship.

After the passing of Pastor J. E. Morgan, Pastor Hightower and Elder Treadwell stood in the gap until Pastor Sylvester Tanner took the mantle and ran with it in 1992, with his prominent wife Evangelist Minnie Tanner by his side. As Pastor Sylvester Tanner proving himself faithful and staying on the wall of ministry, he was later ordained by the late Bishop Ishmael of Christ Holy Sanctified Church in 1994.

 

Through the works of his hands and Yahowah using him as His mouthpiece, he prompted the stage for deliverance to be grand in the house of Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. True Holiness.  The changing of many people lives set the platform for Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C True Holiness.  With Bishop S. Tanner and Evangelist Minnie Tanner powerful igniting prayer life, it caused the ministry to move mighty in deliverance.  Many souls have been saved, delivered, and the birthing forth of great leaders in Christ, through the movement of Yahowah. After running his course, until he couldn’t run any longer, the late Bishop S. Tanner great mantle fell upon his daughter, Pastor Loretta Coleman.

First called as an Evangelist in the ministry under her father, the late Bishop S. Tanner. Then a year later instructed by Yahowah to start a homeless outreach ministry in 2009 at Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C True Holiness.  The outreach ministry took off at Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C True Holiness, tending to the needs of many that were less fortunate.  With years under her belt as an Evangelist, she was sent to the streets.  Preaching the gospel wherever Yahowah sent her. Yahowah began to call her higher to operate in the five-fold ministries and to take Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. True Holiness to another dimension in the Kingdom.

Since pastoral, the church name has been changed to Faith Temple True Holiness Intl. Ministries, and Pastor Loretta Coleman received her heavenly name change to Apostle Zacoria. Apostle Zacoria has sought fit to see the vision of her father through and is transitioning into the vision that Yahowah has given her for Faith Temple True Holiness Intl. Ministries. With the backing of her husband Pastor Billy Coleman, three praying women who has been the remnant of this ministry, Apostle Zacoria’s mother, Evangelist Minnie Tanner, Evangelist Edith Burks (founder’s daughter) and Mother Marie Waller and Bishop S. Tanner’s two other seeds, Julia Melvin and Linda Johnson, and Ministers Tiffany Williams, Tassane Stephens and “late” Tameca Hopkins left behind to do the work of Yahowah.  With expansion of the building on the rise, new development of childcare, which is soon to come, targeting our youth, developing great leaders for ministry, still tending to the needs of the less fortunate and incorporating our community, this ministry is perpetuating a profound gospel for all ages, causing the increase of souls for the Kingdom of Yahowah.
